How the changes affect ND Support and Coaching services:
Parent courses can still be claimed under capacity building, noting that our ‘Teaching the Teacher’ course was developed with a clinical psychologist.
The ‘support’ component of our ‘Coaching + Support’ service can be claimed under ‘Development of daily care and life skills’. We are developing a new support service to better meet the needs of our NDIS participants - more information coming soon!

ND SUPPORT AND COACHING
I help you navigate the challenges of being ND in a neurotypical world and strengthen your ability to advocate for you, or your child's, needs.
I AM A LIFE COACH, QUALIFIED TEACHER, AND A PARENT OF TWO NEUROSPICY KIDS
Hi, I’m Ashleigh Seggie.
As a former teacher I feel passionately about helping parents and schools work together to ensure better outcomes for neurodivergent students.
Parents and carers of neurodivergent kids know too well the journey from Neurodiversity 101 to PhD is a steep learning curve born of love and a deep need for understanding.
But, to be frank, it can be pretty overwhelming.
I started ND Support and Coaching to share my hard won knowledge and wealth of evidence based practices that can help at home, school and work.
If you’re an NDer, parent of an NDer, or teacher of NDers - you’re my people. I’m here to help.
SERVICES
Coaching can help you clarify your parenting and personal goals and put in place a plan to manage your needs, your family’s needs and achieve what you want to achieve.
I love working with adult ND’ers to help them thrive in life and at work.
My cornerstone courses for parents and teachers ‘Teaching the Teacher’ and ‘Improving Outcomes for ND Students’ are evidence-based and were developed with a clinical psychologist.
Need more than just coaching? I offer coaching+support packages to assist with all kinds of life management tasks.
Got some questions?
-
ND is an acronym for neurodiversity or neurodivergence.
-
No, I love working with anyone who needs help managing day to day challenges and achieving outcomes.
-
Yes – details on who can claim under the NDIS can be found on the ‘Coaching’ and ’Courses’ pages.
-
As a neuro affirming practitioner I believe that ADHD, Autism and other neurotypes are not deficits, they are differences. These differences make ND'ers unique individuals who should be valued and included as they are.
-
No, I am not a counsellor or psychologist. Coaching is a process for identifying goals and finding ways to push forward and achieve those goals. Coaching is not the appropriate medium for working through mental health challenges. That being said, I am a trained life coach and a qualified and experienced educator. I have significant lived and professional experience of and with neurodivergence, especially ADHD, Autism and PDA.
All 'ND Support and Coaching' parent and teacher courses have been created with a clinical psychologist and are evidence based.
