Coaching vs Therapy

Coaches meet clients where they are at, helping them define what they want to achieve and move forward.

They look in depth at the NOW - what’s going on that is making you feel stuck and treading water, and what limiting beliefs you have about yourself that are stopping you from making progress.

There are many types of therapy. Most aligned to coaching is psychology - but there are important differences. Psychologists are trained mental health professionals qualified to help with complex issues and consider the way the PAST is impacting on your present.

While coaching is currently unregulated in Australia, any coach who is serious about their profession (i.e. me!) has completed or is completing some formal training to ensure they offer a quality service. Any coach worth their salt will refer a client on when it is clear that therapy would be more beneficial than coaching.
